"Excellent" doesn't do this villa justice! First, the people. Sebastian, the owner's stepfather who lives on the estate, was extremely solicitous and helpful. It was a delight dealing with Helder, the owner: one example - before we arrived, I told him some of us were table tennis fanatics - so he bought a super one for us to enjoy, delivered the day before we arrived! Next the villa: very spacious and comfortably furnished. Great bedrooms and a lovely living space with kitchen, bar, billiard table & dining table. Just outside on the patio is another table (we most of out breakfasts, lunches & dinners here). This looks out on a secluded garden with the swimming pool & the tennis court next door. The villa is walking distance to 2 supermarkets, and a 17€ cab ride to the centre of Porto. Porto is a gorgeous city and we also enjoyed visits to the Douro valley and the mountains to the north. The villa is exceptionally good value. Book here! You will not be disappointed!! Muito obrigado!!!!
